UT Tyler Center of Global Education offers "Italian Adventure"
TYLER, Feb. 22, 2012--The University of Texas at Tyler will offer the public the opportunity to visit Italy this fall, Dr. Jill E. Blondin, Center for Global Education director, announced.
Blondin, UT Tyler associate professor of art history and an art history expert, will lead the “UT Tyler Italian Adventure.”
“This amazing opportunity allows the participants to discover the great art, culture and food that Italy has to offer,” she said.
Cost is approximately $3,595 plus tuition and includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation, admission fees and several meals.
A non-refundable $500 deposit is due Sunday, April 1. The remaining balance is due Wednesday, July 25.
Participants will travel on Oct. 1 – 9, 2012 and visit Rome, Orvieto, Florence and Assisi to study Italian art and architecture.
Space is limited for this noncredit trip, Blondin added.
