TYLER, Feb. 20, 2012--On Saturday at about 1:38 pm, Tyler Police were called to 3500 Mineola Highway in regards to a major accident. 
 
According to the reports, it was determined that a 2006 red Ford F350 driven by a white male, 61, was southbound.  According to witnesses, he lost control and drove into the northbound lanes of traffic.  He then crashed into a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 truck driven by Javier Mojarro, 61, of Lindale.  A 2012 Mercedes E350 driven by a white male, 48, was unable to avoid the initial crash and also crashed into the Ford F350.  
 
Javier Mojarro was pronounced dead at the scene. All other persons involved are believed to have only minor injuries.
 
It was not raining at the time of the accident; however, the roads were wet.
