Palestine man indicted for fatal wreck in June 2011
PALESTINE, Feb. 9, 2012—A Palestine man involved in a two-vehicle wreck in June 2011 that resulted in the death of another man has been indicted on the felony charge of intoxication manslaughter by an Anderson County Grand Jury.
According to Anderson County Assistant District Attorney Stanley Sokolowski, Larry Wayne Adams, 50, was operating a pickup truck on June 9, 2011 and allegedly struck a motorcycle, killing the occupant.
Keith Robert Gardner, 60, of Palestine was the operator of the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to Sokolowski.
“Intoxication manslaughter is punishable by two-to-twenty years in prison with up to a $10,000 fine,” Sokolowski said.
