DALLAS, Feb. 6, 2012--According to TMZ, country singer Randy Travis was arrested near Dallas early this morning for public intoxication after police say he was seen drinking a bottle of wine in front of a Baptist church in Sangar.
 
According to the Sanger Police Department, someone called the police to report a suspicious vehicle near the church and when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the 52-year-old singer with an open bottle of wine.
 
The country music superstar was apparently taken to a nearby jail around 1:30 a.m. Monday where he was booked, cited and released a short time later.
