TYLER, Feb. 5, 2012--Thursday, Feb. 9, will continue Liberty Hall’s “Month of Romance” with the original high school musical, the 1978 hit, “Grease,” starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.
                                                                                                     
It's California, 1959 and greaser Danny Zuko and Australian Sandy Olsson fall in love after spending all summer together at the beach.  They depart never expecting to see each other again. They are shocked to learn they are attending the same high school - only Danny is no longer the same guy she knew on the beach.  Danny is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black-jacket greasers, while Sandy is part of the Pink Ladies, which leads to a clash at Rydell High’s first pep rally.  Enjoy the famous songs; “Grease Lightning,” “You’re the Only One that I Want” and “Summer Nights,” that lead Danny and Sandy working through their differences.
