The Camp to hold retreat March 2-4

PALESTINE, Jan. 20, 2012—The Camp, a weekend retreat at Dogwood Trail Camp and Retreat Center in Poynor, will be holding a session on March 2-4.

 

The Camp was started to help those who are struggling with their past, present or future come to a place of acceptance and restoration through Biblical answers.

 

Individuals dealing with depression, sadness, stress or worry; separation or divorce; alcoholism or addiction; a traumatic event, death of a loved one; peer pressure or anger management and needing help in processing in an objective environment are encouraged to attend. The Camp is a comfortable place where thoughts and feelings can be explored and understood.

 

According to Jonathan Jones with The Camp, a weekend at the camp costs $100 per person and this fee covers the cost of lodging, meals and snacks. Participants will receive individual and group counseling services provided by Frank Minirth and his team of counselors, along with corporate worship.

 

The Camp program is assisted by the cooperative giving of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, Dogwood Trails Baptist Area, the Hearts of Love Ministry and local churches.
