Lufkin Police arrest man for deadly conduct
LUFKIN, Feb. 9, 2012—Lufkin Police Officers responded to a report of gunshots outside a North First Street residence in Lufkin on Wednesday around 12:20 p.m.
According to the report, responding officers learned that Michael Anthony Sheddan, 24, angry over his live-in girlfriend arriving at the residence with another male, discharged a handgun multiple times. The officers believe that the other male was Sheddan’s target but the bullets did not hit that person.
Although officers did not locate any property damage caused by the bullets, multiple businesses, residences and occupied vehicles were in the paths of the bullets.
Sheddan was arrested for the third degree felony offenses of Deadly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
