Jacksonville ISD construction close to breaking ground

 

According to Jacksonville ISD Superintendent Joe Wardell, the bids are in for the two projects and the next board meeting will be held on July 18 where there board should have a recommendation from Pogue Construction on the guaranteed maximum price for completion.

 

“Uniquely enough, on the two projects there were over 700 subcontractors that put in bids. We feel that is a great thing to have that many people wanting to do work for us,” Wardell said.

 

After the recommendation from Pogue Construction is received and approved, the construction on the two projects will begin, according to Wardell.
