Henderson Co. man killed after being struck by vehicle, arrest made
HENDERSON COUNTY, Feb. 10, 2012—According to Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt, a 20-year-old Henderson County man was killed when he was struck by a Dodge pick-up truck on Thursday around 9 p.m. in an incident that occurred nine miles east of Athens on FM 317.
John Tanner Forester, 17, was charged and booked into the Henderson County Jail and charged with failure to stop and render aid, according to Sheriff Nutt.
Henderson County Officials are still investigating the incident, but they believe the two individuals got into an argument and Forester ran over the victim with his Dodge truck.
Sheriff Nutt says the investigation is ongoing and other charges could be filed.
