Anderson Co. business falls victim to theft, authorities searching for suspects
ANDERSON COUNTY, Feb. 8, 2012—An Anderson County business located in the 500 block of Highway 287 north of Palestine was burglarized between late Saturday and early Monday morning.
According to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor, a 2001 Ford F350 flatbed truck, an 18-foot trailer, a welder, copper wire and tools were taken from the business. The copper wire alone was valued at $32,000.
“The truck was recovered in Freestone County by the Game Warden on a ranch,” Sheriff Taylor said.
Authorities are currently processing the recovered vehicle for evidence.
“We are looking for the public’s help for any information on this crime,” Sheriff Taylor said.
